SUMMARY:

Groundfloor is creating a new category of individual real estate investments - accessible to everyone.

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to join our Originations Team. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Business Development Manager role involves Retail and Broker Originations, cultivating, developing, and growing strong and sustainable customer relationships. Responsibilities also include training customers on our products, processes, and services. This role is crucial for Groundfloor in building and growing our business.

Groundfloor is a remote-friendly, hyper-growth, wealthtech company based out of Atlanta. All qualified candidates regardless of location are encouraged to apply, but candidates based out of Atlanta, GA, or Wichita, KS are preferred.

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Conduct sales calls to prospective customers, introducing Groundfloor, developing profiles, providing value propositions, and documenting results within the company's CRM
  • Understand and serve as the main resource regarding Groundfloor's products, policies, and underwriting policies
  • Travel and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Be the main point of contact throughout the loan process for both customers and Groundfloor
  • Train and actively communicate our products and processes to customers
  • Close loans from provided leads as well as self-generated ones
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Manage a dynamic pipeline and organize activities using the company's CRM
  • Participate in local industry organizations to expand your network of market influencers
REQUIREMENTS + NICE TO HAVES:
  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • Real estate experience is a plus
