Purpose
Primary responsibility for this Business Development Manager is the management of tactical sales activity through the field sales team. Additional responsibility would be in support of strategic activity by the Business Manager related to supplier relations and overall financial governance of the assigned business.

Strategic Responsibilities:Managing pipeline process with both sellers and strategic suppliersOrganizing and leading training sessions on new product rollouts or strategic focus areasJoint travel with supplier partners to develop target accounts and improve supplier relationsAssisting the Business Manager in developing an overall business strategy and planDrive growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionEssential Tasks:Assisting field sales in identifying and closing target opportunities which will generate organic volume growth; this includes travel to participate in customer meetingsWorking with the Business Manager and Technical Service to match products and suppliers with sales opportunitiesCoordinating technical service in support of new businessUpdating CRM tools to ensure pipeline is robust and sustainableUsing target information to build a business plan for Celanese sales in each sales territoryResponsible for the development and growth of all branded and generic Celanese products within the CPA portfolioAssist with growing branded business with CPAWork with CPA Business Development Manager’s to increase Celanese exposureFunnel all Celanese opportunities to appropriate distribution teamAll other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities

Education:Bachelors degree or related training. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.Experience:Proven experience with 5+ years of experience in selling, brand management and strategy development in polymers preferredLicenses / Certifications:Valid driver’s license – requiredLanguage:Proficiency in English requiredBi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plusWork Environment / Conditions
