Position Title: Commercial Business Development Manager

Location: Remote - Field based position - Ideally located within West Coast/Midwest area

Reports To: Director, Commercial Drinking Water

Culligan is seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to help drive growth in Commercial Drinking Water and strengthen dealer capabilities in the bottleless water purifier and high-capacity ice categories. With Culligan International’s significant investments in this space—including the acquisitions of Quench and Waterlogic—this position plays a critical role in scaling premium hydration solutions across our independent dealer network.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager will support national initiatives while leveraging Culligan’s platform to help dealers grow local commercial market share. This individual will work closely with franchise dealers, corporate leadership, and internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver hands-on sales training, and implement sales strategies designed to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with dealers and internal stakeholders to identify and act on commercial market growth opportunities
  • Create, deliver, and present classroom and in-field sales training programs for reps and sales managers
  • Travel with sales reps to coach on top-down selling, pipeline development, and sales execution
  • Guide dealers on how to increase recurring monthly revenue (RMR) through effective sales strategies and product mix
  • Help dealers recruit, hire, and onboard B2B sales talent to grow local sales teams
  • Train sales reps and managers on how to identify, penetrate, and win large commercial target accounts
  • Conduct ongoing competitive market research and communicate findings across the dealer network
  • Build and roll out market-specific sales promotions and dealer enablement programs
  • Support the development of strategic sales plans focused on rep headcount, territory optimization, and growth targets
  • Act as a resource for high-performing dealers—sharing best practices and helping scale success across the network

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, sales management, dealer development, or business consulting
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; comfortable using LinkedIn and sales tools
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 50%–75% monthly to support dealers in the field

We offer competitive compensation including base plus bonus & benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, 401(k), Parental Leave, PTO, Additional voluntary benefits.

Target Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year with eligibility to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
