Walker Lovell Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the US market for biostimulants from a remote base in the United States. The role focuses on winning new business, expanding customer relationships, and driving revenue in the Americas as the first commercial hire on the ground in the US.
You will identify prospects, open new accounts, and manage opportunities from engagement through to revenue, while working with senior leadership to shape strategy and growth.
Join a private equity-backed leader in specialty biologicals as the business prepares for its next major phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to become the first commercial hire on the ground in the US, develop new customer relationships and play a key role in growing the regional business.
Alongside a strong salary, the role offers the potential for significant additional financial upside and career progression as the business expands.
Our client is an established international producer of specialty biologicals and value-added agricultural ingredients, supplying customers across global agricultural markets.
Following significant investment in its product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and international footprint, the business is now expanding its commercial organisation to accelerate growth across the Americas.
As Business Development Manager, you will focus on winning new business and growing customer relationships in the United States, with opportunities to support expansion across the wider Americas region.
As the first commercial hire on the ground in the US, you will personally identify prospects, open new accounts and manage commercial opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation, agreement and first revenue.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute market insight, identify growth opportunities and deliver against agreed commercial priorities.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being in the market, developing business personally and building a customer base from an early stage. As the business grows, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and support the development of a regional commercial team.
Direct commercial experience in biostimulants or agricultural biologicals is strongly preferred.
This role is likely to suit a Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager or similar who enjoys winning new business and is looking for greater autonomy and scope for progression.
