Job Title: Business Development Manager - B2B Ecommerce

Job Overview:The Business Development Manager - B2B Ecommerce will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key B2B ecommerce accounts. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth, develop comprehensive business plans, and execute strategies to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B ecommerce selling CPG brands and a proven track record of success in managing ecommerce accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive B2B ecommerce sales growth, incorporating strategic portfolio expansion into new channels such as Healthcare, Education and Foodservice.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key B2B ecommerce accounts, including Amazon Business, Webstaurant and other partners.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's B2B ecommerce footprint and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Monitor account performance and work with customers to optimize product listings, pricing and promotional strategies.

  • Oversee and manage relationships with agency partners, ensuring effective collaboration, performance alignment, and achievement of business objectives.

  • Be the voice of the Customer for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and successful execution of ecommerce initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of ecommerce accounts, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in B2B ecommerce and incorporate relevant insights into the company's strategy.

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and reduce compliance fines, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and minimizing financial penalties.

  • Travel 30%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B ecommerce, with a proven track record of managing and growing ecommerce accounts within B2B markets.

  • Strong understanding of the B2B ecommerce landscape, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, CRM software, and other relevant tools and technologies.

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
