Business Development Manager, Artificial Intelligence Apps

Description

You will build and maintain close relationships with top app partners, help existing partners grow their business on the App Store by providing data-driven actionable business guidance, identifying new business opportunities, and adopting new technologies. You will advocate for developer-centric platform improvements based on developer feedback, market research, and internal analysis. Collaboration with internal teams (product, marketing, legal, analytics) is essential to gain support for business initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 years of proven experience in business development, partnership management, or product management, ideally within the mobile app space.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and deep curiosity about the mobile apps ecosystem, app stores, features, business models, policies, and the competitive landscape.
• Experience with app monetization, including subscription models, hybrid business models, payer funnels, and creator monetization.
• Ability to develop and implement category-wide strategies aligned with customer and developer demand.
• Proficiency in using data, analytics, and financial models to tell compelling stories internally and externally.
• Deep curiosity to identify new opportunities and trends in social networking, creator, and photo & video ecosystems.
• Interest and ability in program or project management.
• Strong presentation skills for delivering to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
• Integrity, humor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Interest in collaborating across cross-functional teams such as product, editorial, marketing, engineering, and legal.
• BS degree or equivalent; JD or MS/MBA is a plus.

Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base pay ranging from $137,100 to $206,700, dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees may participate in stock programs, receive benefits like medical/dental coverage, retirement plans, educational reimbursement, and may be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
