Job summary

Elwood Staffing in Utah is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify leads, qualify prospects, and present tailored solutions. The role involves 60-70% local travel with an auto allowance and entails negotiating, closing, and onboarding new accounts while coordinating with a service team for delivery.

The ideal candidate will have outside sales or new account development experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license for regional travel.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or new account business development experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between branch and client locations.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and develop new sustainable partnerships.
• Local travel 60-70% throughout the week with auto allowance provided (not remote).
• Present customized solutions that address the prospective client's business needs.
• Negotiate, close, and onboard new accounts while coordinating with the service team to deliver service.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
• Local travel 60-70% throughout the week - auto allowance provided! (This is not remote)
• Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
• Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts while working with a service team to provide service delivery.
