Job summary

Elwood Staffing in Reno, NV is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to identify leads, qualify prospects, and present tailored solutions to clients. You will travel locally 60-70% of the week and work with a service team to close new accounts and ensure service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to negotiate. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or new account development experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
• Local travel 60-70% throughout the week - auto allowance provided.
• Present customized solutions that demonstrate understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
• Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts while working with a service team to provide service delivery.
