Job description

We are seeking a results-driven and passionate Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the Indian travel market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting relationships with travel trade partners, and driving sales performance across key verticals including outbound travel, MICE, and leisure tourism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new clients including travel agents, event planners, and corporates in India and overseas.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with travel agencies, DMCs, hotels, and other tourism partners.
  • Maintain excellent rapport with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Design and execute sales strategies that cater to the Indian outbound travel market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to regularly review and improve product offerings.
  • Ensure all sales and booking processes follow updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Keep up-to-date with pricing, availability, and features of all packages.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, B2B events, roadshows, and client meetings.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies.
  • Report to management on business development performance and insights.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in the travel trade industry with a proven sales track record.
  • Established network within Indian travel agencies, OTAs, and corporate travel departments.
  • Proactive and target-oriented, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel within India and internationally as needed.
  • Multilingual ability (English, Hindi, regional languages) preferred.
  • To carry out any other job function given by management from time to time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,467.30 - ₹57,040.71 per month
