CFS Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager — Channel Partnerships to expand its partner ecosystem for deposit automation software used by 500+ community banks and credit unions through 40+ resellers. You will own and grow the partner program, onboard new partners, and drive channel-led revenue.
The role reports to the CEO and offers a growth-focused compensation package with base salary plus uncapped commissions and partner bonuses, with travel across the US as needed.
CFS Solutions (a Banyan Software company)
Chief Executive Officer
Tallahassee, FL or remote (US), with travel
Full-time, exempt
Competitive base + uncapped commission on channel growth + partner bonuses
Grow the partner channel that brings a 25-year banking software company to market. CFS's deposit automation software runs in 500+ community banks and credit unions, reached mainly through 40+ resellers and service partners. You’ll be the first person whose whole job is growing that channel — new partners, bigger partners, and new routes to market.
CFS Solutions automates the deposit, imaging, and payment workflows financial institutions depend on. Our products — InstantX™, Check Review, TranSend, and DirectBranch — capture every ATM and ITM transaction and deliver it to the institution's image processor and core. Founded in 2000 and now part of the Banyan Software portfolio, CFS is a small, profitable team that runs on clear scorecards and heavy use of AI tooling.
This is a growth seat, reporting directly to the CEO. Our channel already produces most of our new business, but it has never had a dedicated commercial owner. You’ll take a defined portfolio of partners — our developing resellers, the dormant ones worth reviving, and every new partner you sign — and grow what it books. As you prove the model, ownership of our largest partner relationships moves to you.
You sell through the channel, not around it. Delivery, implementation, and backlog belong to other teams; your job is bringing new business in.
1. Grow our existing partners.
2. Add new partners and new channels.
3. Keep partners equipped to sell.
The audience decides the owner. When the audience is the partner as a business — terms, growth plans, recruitment, renewals — the meeting is yours. When the audience is an end customer — a product demo, training, or presentation, even one a partner requested — it goes to our Customer Experience team. Direct customer relationships stay with the Customer Experience Manager.
The first quarter is a ramp: learn the partners, then build the plan.
What done looks like
Met every partner in your portfolio; partner map delivered; first business-review calendar booked
Business reviews held with developing partners; reactivation calls made with dormant ones; written growth plan per partner; new-partner pipeline building
Portfolio bookings growing above their starting baseline; first new partner signed and producing
You’re paid for the growth you create, not the book you inherit.
