About the Role

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development to lead and expand our outside sales team across Washington and Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first two in the field, with the responsibility of developing key markets and building a sales team from the ground up. You’ll be based in Renton and should live between Tacoma and Lake Washington to effectively cover the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of four reps (two in WA, two in OR), with one currently on medical leave.
• Recruit, train, and mentor new hires while also driving your own sales.
• Handle the install once a contract is signed, but not the ongoing delivery.
• Work in a CRM-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and leading successful sales teams.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and motivate sales reps.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to field sales.
• Experience selling service-based or recurring revenue products.
• Familiarity with independent restaurant markets is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build, coach, and lead a high-performing team.

Pay range and compensation package

• Competitive base salary + uncapped commission ($140K–$180K+ potential).
