Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Business Developer on a permanent basis to strengthen the team at its Luxe Pack tradeshows team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Packaging trade shows team. The office is based in Nashville.

The Role

The role will be selling our packaging tradeshows, which is a very dynamic business unit registering a two digits growth every year. Directly reporting to the US Sales Manager your mission is to develop new accounts within the American markets. Your clients are manufacturers for the packaging industry: beauty and cosmetic, wine & spirit, fine food, fashion, life style....

Our expectations

  • You need to be completely autonomous in the sales cycle
  • Your role will be to proactively generate new business and establish a strong client pipeline by making cold calls with a confident telephone manner and conducting online research for three international events related to the cosmetic industry, makeup, and skincare
  • You will assist the US Sales Manager in booking appointments and developing high-ticket sales opportunities with prospects and clients locally and globally
  • You will regularly report on your sales activities and revenue progress to the US and French offices


Requirements

  • A proven background of successful sales experience in a B2B environment is essential and ideally in the packaging ecosystem and (or) tradeshows business
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales
  • Qualities that you should have to be a star and exceed your goals for this role include being highly dynamic and determined, as well as tenacious and convincing in order to overcome gatekeepers and successfully pitch to the decision makers
  • Curiosity and business intelligence are keys to better understand markets in the USA and adapt the strategy
  • Have a solution-based approach to problem-solving and a passion for detail execution
  • Possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Team player, friendly, and approachable
  • Autonomous
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Availability to travel, local and international
  • Being part of a small team that is owned and operated by a large corporation
