Job description

MoveDocs

is looking for a self-motivated, smart, and outgoing professional to serve as a Business Development Manager to personal injury law firms. The right candidate will be responsible for growing and fostering attorney relationships by sharing the benefits of our technology, and the value of working with our company. The Business Development Manager will provide law firms with training, updates on new services and features, and maintaining current and future law firm relationships.

This is a remote position, based in Ohio and responsible for managing relationships throughout the state. Candidates must currently reside in the greater Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati, Ohio metro areas.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develops and builds relationships with attorneys and law firms in Ohio
  2. Reaches out to attorneys and sets schedule of weekly meetings
  3. Develops new relationships with attorneys and law firms, and fosters existing attorney relationships to grow the business
  4. Engages in ongoing dialogue with attorneys to keep MoveDocs top-of-mind to encourage use of our technology
  5. Travels throughout the state of Ohio and meets in-person with attorneys to build strong relationships
  6. Responsible for all attorney contact including follow-up, answering questions, and training on MoveDocs technology
  7. Assists and schedules plaintiffs for services as requested by attorney clients
Requirements:
  • High School or GED required
  • JD, MBA, or Paralegal degree a plus
  • Paralegal, legal, account management, outside sales experience a plus
  • Experience working with attorneys or other professionals a plus
  • Must currently live in the greater Columbus, OH area. No relocation considered.
  • Possess a high level of drive, self-motivation, and goal-orientation
  • Must be organized, confident, and passionate
  • Ability to travel throughout the state of OH (60% travel/40% remote office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that drive success
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and Outlook
