Job summary

Interim HealthCare of the Midlands is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our Home Health and Hospice sales initiatives in the Midlands region. You will guide the BD Liaison team, shape sales and marketing strategies, and expand referral partnerships to grow patient access to quality home-based care.

You will analyze market trends, manage budgets, and coach staff to meet aggressive growth targets while maintaining our commitment to compassionate community service and high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or related field preferred.
• Successful sales experience with healthcare customers; familiarity with home health and hospice services is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage at all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Home Health and Hospice Business Development Liaison team.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Manage sales forecasts, budgets, profitability, and expense controls.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and business development opportunities.
• Build referral partnerships and expand key accounts to generate new business.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members to achieve sales goals.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, sales training, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations to improve growth, customer service, and referral relationships.

What You’ll Do as a Business Development Manager:

• Lead and manage the Home Health and Hospice Business Development Liaison team.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Manage sales forecasts, budgets, profitability, and expense controls.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and business development opportunities.

• Analyze sales metrics and collaborate with Clinical Operations to improve growth, customer service, and referral relationships.
• Uphold company policies and procedures and demonstrate integrity in all actions.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or related field preferred.
• Successful sales experience with similar customers; healthcare management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Familiarity with home health and hospice services, referral sources, and payors.
