Repserve is a leading provider of innovative sales and marketing solutions, specializing in helping businesses expand their reach and maximize their growth potential. Our client, a dynamic company in the auto parts industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team while driving the company's expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling genuine automotive parts to domestic new car dealerships, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Strengthening current relationships with new car dealerships to increase business.
  • Creating new relationships through on-site visits, LinkedIn, phone, etc.
  • Following the client's project manager's direction proficiently while working independently as needed.
  • Traveling to customer sites when necessary.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify the best targets.
  • Establishing relationships based on market analysis and outreach.
  • Utilizing existing contact pipelines to begin selling the product.
  • Achieving ramp-up metrics in Quarter 1: setting up at least one introduction/sales meeting per day, aiming for ten per week, and closing two to three deals per week with management approval.

About Repserve

At Repserve, we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, enabling firms to enter new markets or expand in existing ones. Our Reps typically manage up to three non-competing clients, handling all communications while scheduling physical client interactions as per the allocated time.

This role involves a 25% time allocation or approximately 40 hours per month, with potential to increase up to 100% or full-time, depending on client needs. The position offers a monthly salary of $800 plus commissions. Expenses such as petrol, parking, tolls, and mobile charges are covered, while larger expenses require prior approval. Clients may also opt to pay performance-based commissions, which will be discussed and agreed upon.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of effective auto parts sales experience, both in person and via phone.
  • Experience with gray market parts (preferred).
  • Experience in wholesale export and domestic auto parts sales (preferred).
  • Strong relationships with body shop groups and parts managers.
  • Understanding of car dealership back and front counter sales.
  • Dealership parts department managerial experience (preferred).
  • Existing network of new car dealership parts relationships is highly important.
  • Ability to develop and grow new and existing accounts.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (training available for the right candidate).
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Experience with companies like LKQ, Applegate, Transworld, and Auto Nation is very helpful.
