Job description

Comco Controls is a leader in process controls with over 20 years of experience providing automation systems for various industries, such as Grain Facilities, Feed Mills/Feed Lots, Ports/Terminals, Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, Fertilizer, Coffee/Tea Blending Facilities and Seed Plants/Oat Blending. The company has offices in Saskatoon, Canada and Ida Grove, IA USA. Comco provides complete turnkey process automation solutions from engineering to programming including panel design and built.

Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time/part-time, remote role serving one or more of the states-Illinois or Missouri. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities specifically in Food and Beverage industry by developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals and presentations (with support from technical staff), and attending industry events.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Food and Beverage industry is a must
  • Experience in business development, sales, and marketing
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Willingness to travel to attend industry events and meet with clients
