Ambition is partnering with a global law firm to lead technology-focused business development initiatives. This role reports to a senior manager and collaborates with US leadership to drive strategic growth across key sectors.

The ideal candidate will oversee pitches, proposals and RFPs, provide market insights to sector leaders, and coach junior team members. Location flexibility across major East Coast markets is considered for the right candidate.

Ambition is working with a global law firm on an interesting and innovative technology BD sector opportunity. This is a role that will be working closely with the senior leadership team across the US and reporting into an experienced senior manager, giving you a varied role and great platform to continue your legal business development career.

We would be very keen to speak with current legal business development managers who are excited by the prospect of working in a sector role and someone who has a genuine interest in the technology sector. Given the dynamics of the team, we are open to considering current managers and those who may be seeking their first step into a management position.

• Work closely with Technology sector leadership and the Marketing & Business Development team to shape and deliver strategic growth initiatives aligned with sector and firm objectives.
• Act as a strategic business partner to sector leaders, offering market insights, commercial guidance, and business development expertise.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and day-to-day support to junior members of the team.
• Lead the preparation and delivery of pitches, proposals, and RFP submissions, ensuring messaging is compelling, commercially focused, and tailored to client needs.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends, and target opportunities to identify areas for growth and client expansion.
• Maintain and enhance sector collateral, credentials, experience records, and other marketing resources to support business development efforts.
