SCC is seeking a Business Development Executive (North - East) to lead new business growth in the North East public sector. The role focuses on building relationships, re-engaging existing contacts, and generating opportunities for enterprise technology, managed services, and professional services-led engagements.
You will engage senior stakeholders, shape deals end-to-end, and coordinate virtual teams across sales, delivery and partners to deliver outcomes.

Salary Package: £ 40k - £ 57k
plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

This is a new business, territory-building role focused on growing SCC’s presence across the North East public sector. While this is largely a white-space opportunity, SCC already has a strong reputation, established customer relationships, and significant capability in the region. Your role is to take that story to market — building new relationships, re-engaging existing ones, and creating opportunities where there is clear potential to grow. You will shape and sell enterprise technology, managed services, and professional services-led engagements, typically complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities such as:
