A leading company in the defense industry seeks a Business Development Director to drive strategic growth in the Air and Space Force Solutions area. This role involves developing strategies to enhance the domestic opportunity pipeline while maintaining strong customer relationships and managing a geographically diverse team.
**Job Description**
Join BAE Systems Intelligence & Security sector (I&S) as a Director of Business Development for the Air and Space Force Solutions (ASFS) business area. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Winning, you will partner with the business area team to drive the organization’s strategic growth objectives by developing and refining an understanding of customers' most important needs and laying the foundation for winning strategies. With responsibility for business development serving a dynamic and diverse market space and customer set, the selected individual will be held accountable for identification, qualification, and support of capture for Department of the Air Force business development opportunities as well as the generation of qualified pipeline growth necessary to meet or exceed the business unit’s forecast and plan. You will be responsible for developing a holistic and cohesive USAF business development strategy and pipeline. Additionally, you will plan and recommend BD and marketing strategies to achieve maximum customer and market penetration and to drive tactical and strategic growth. The position is located in McLean, Virginia but requires frequent travel to company and/or customer locations.

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $150,370 - $255,630
This range reflects market pay structures. Salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, skills, education, and experience.
