Job summary

Lake Centre for Rehab in Florida is seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and drive patient referrals across The Villages, Leesburg, and Mt Dora areas.

You will build trust with physicians and referral partners, develop territory outreach plans, coordinate opportunities for therapy services, track referral trends, and support local marketing initiatives to expand clinic growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build productive relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, case managers, hospital systems, and other healthcare partners.
• Develop and execute a territory outreach plan focused on increasing awareness and patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing provider offices.
• Coordinate opportunities for physical therapists, occupational and speech therapists and clinic leaders to connect with referral sources.
• Track outreach activity, referral trends, and market opportunities to determine what is working and where additional focus is needed.
• Support community events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local marketing initiatives.
• Help clinic leaders create action plans for locations needing additional referral growth.

Overview

Lake Centre for Rehab, part of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals for all of our clinics.

Territory & Travel

The Liaison will build and maintain relationships with physician offices and referral partners throughout the The Villages, Leesburg, and Mt Dora service areas. Travel needs will vary based on the assigned territory and outreach routing schedule, which will determine when and where travel is needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Within your first several months, you will:

Preferred Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, community outreach, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

• Salary: ~$55,000 + quarterly bonus potential + Mileage Reimbursement
