The BD team is responsible for managing relationships with deal sources and supporting the deployment of Graham’s investment funds.

Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate the Following:
  • Proficiency in Excel and other productivity tools, with comfort using spreadsheets for tracking, reconciliation, and analytics
  • Prior experience working with and maintaining a CRM is a requirement (experience with DealCloud or Salesforce is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while operating effectively within a team-based environment
  • Strong sense of initiative, follow-through, and accountability

  • Undergraduate degree from a competitive four-year institution is required
  • 1-2 years of experience in professional services is required. Experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting is a plus
  • Experience with M&A data / software platforms (e.g., PitchBook, SourceScrub, Grata, CapIQ, Sutton Place, and Axial) is a plus
  • Strong working experience with AI, ideally Claude, is a plus
Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Screen inbound platform and add-on opportunities against Graham’s investment criteria and bring the most promising to the industry deal teams
  • Help run Graham’s Investment Theme Program, a proprietary sourcing effort that generates off-market opportunities, including conflict checking targets, assigning them to buyside brokers, and tracking each one through to an outcome
  • Assist in managing the firm’s relationships with its buyside brokers through regular update calls, lead qualification, and activity tracking in DealCloud
  • Join calls, meetings, and events with investment bankers and other deal sources alongside the BD team, with a plan to eventually lead their own calls and meetings with third parties
  • Identify and prioritize target companies ahead of industry conferences and tradeshows
  • Help maintain the firm’s pipeline of platform and add-on opportunities across Graham’s funds, and take part in weekly BD meetings and firmwide Transactions Under Review meetings
  • Prepare quarterly sourcing updates and reports for senior leadership on deal flow, sourcing activity, and pipeline trends
  • Create BD marketing materials and email campaigns that communicate Graham’s investment criteria to the intermediary community
  • Own data quality and reporting in DealCloud so the firm has an accurate record of every relationship, interaction, and opportunity
  • Partner with Graham’s AI team to build automation and evaluate new data platforms and AI tools that help the BD team find and screen deals faster
  • Comprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k)
  • Opportunity for a hybrid office schedule
  • Paid firmwide holidays
  • Ongoing training
  • Wellness stipend / Fitler Club membership
