Job summary

Trinity Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative for University of Central Missouri graduates to join our Kansas City team.

In this role you will start in inside sales, cold calling and pursuing leads to ship with Trinity, building a book of business and moving toward account management as you grow. You will work in a fast-paced environment, overcoming objections and delivering top-tier service for transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role preferred but not required.
• Experience in logistics preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, as well as ability to write reports and professional business correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CRM and BI systems helpful and generally strong computer skills.
• Ability to learn new software and computer systems.
• Disciplined organizational and multi-tasking skills required with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates the ability to connect with others on a personal level to create an openness and trust in the relationship whether with the team members, customers, or stakeholders.
