Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Business Data Analyst I to join the Pricing Data Analytics team in a hybrid role with in-office days in Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH. You will use predictive modeling, statistics and trend analysis to identify relevant data from internal and external sources and convert findings into actionable business insights.

You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, build and validate predictive models, and work on large-scale data sets using Snowflake, R, Python, SQL and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of internal business segment and presentation skills.
• Experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques and system testing.
• Proficiency in working with large-scale data sets, with Snowflake, R, Python, SQL and Tableau.

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Business Data Analyst I - Predictive Modeling, Statistics, Finance & Strategic Planning to join our ever-evolving Pricing Data Analytics team and help shape the future of global commerce.

This role will be hybrid (working 3 days per week in office at either our Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA locations). Please note this not a role that we can sponsor or transfer sponsorship now or in the future.

What you’ll own

• Using predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and identify right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources

• Assists business analysts with finding patterns and relationships in data

• Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size and verifies model in real world

• Proactively and effectively interacts with other internal groups throughout Global Payments

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and presentation skills

• Experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques and system testing

• Proficiency in working with large-scale business data sets, fluent in scripting in Snowflake, R and Python as well as knowledgeable in SQL and Tableau
