Job summary

Crew is seeking a Business Analyst in New Jersey with strong process and data capabilities. The role focuses on documenting requirements, supporting multiple data-product squads, and enabling delivery through clear communications.

The candidate will translate business needs for product, governance, and technical teams, while coordinating across stakeholders and maintaining documentation quality.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, project coordination, communications, change enablement, or related roles
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear documentation
  • Strong organization skills across multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Job description

Crew process improvement associates measure and document customer satisfaction, cost and time reduction, and quality improvement processes and develop strategies to improve them.
Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis and Process Support
    • Support business and data-product teams in gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements
    • Interview business stakeholders and SMEs to understand current processes, pain points, business rules, and data needs
    • Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, roles, and handoffs
    • Develop process maps, requirements documentation, decision logs, and other working artifacts
    • Identify gaps, dependencies, and areas requiring additional clarification or follow-up
    • Help translate business needs into clear information that can be consumed by product, governance, modeling, and technical teams
  • Project and Squad Enablement
    • Provide flexible support across multiple data product squads based on workload, priorities, and delivery needs
    • Coordinate meetings, workshops, action items, dependencies, and follow-ups across business and technical stakeholders
    • Organize information and documentation to improve team visibility and execution
    • Track open questions, decisions, risks, and outstanding actions and help drive them to closure
    • Support preparation of stakeholder and leadership updates
    • Assist with product documentation, readiness activities, and other delivery needs throughout the data-product lifecycle
  • Communications and Knowledge Management
    • Develop clear, concise communications for business stakeholders and data-product consumers
    • Create presentations, email communications, FAQs, guides, and other enablement materials
    • Build and maintain SharePoint sites, team repositories, and knowledge-management structures to make information easy to find and consume
    • Organize documentation, templates and working materials across data-product squads
    • Support stakeholder onboarding, change communications, and adoption activities as new data products and processes are introduced
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, project coordination, communications, change enablement, data/analytics initiatives, or related roles
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new business processes and translate complex information into clear documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture decisions and actions, and independently drive follow-up
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration and knowledge-management platforms
  • Comfortable working in a data, analytics, or technology environment without needing to be deeply technical
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting data, analytics, data governance, or data-product initiatives
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation
  • Experience developing stakeholder communications, presentations, or change/adoption materials
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain, manufacturing, planning, sourcing, logistics, inventory, or related operational functions
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, or similar collaboration and process-documentation platforms
  • Familiarity with data concepts such as data quality, metadata, data governance, reporting, or analytics
  • Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another complex enterprise environment

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
