Job summary

Collierville Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a Finance Manager/Controller to provide financial oversight and strategic leadership for the dealership. You will maintain records, review ledgers, and ensure tight internal controls while leading a 2–10 person accounting team.

You will participate in budgeting up to $8MM and support stores with up to $200MM in revenue, including involvement with vendor/program compliance and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required or 3+ years dealership accounting experience.
• Experience leading a small to mid-size accounting team.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dealership financial records, ensure accurate month-end closings and review GL schedules.
• Monitor income statements, conduct fraud prevention reviews, and ensure internal controls compliance.
• Oversee AR collections, daily bank postings, and bank reconciliations.
• Review payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct vehicle inventories, reconcile parts inventory, and support fixed asset reporting.
• Resolve title/registration documentation issues.
• Partner with leadership (GM), manage 2–10 staff, support hiring and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, warranty claims, and reporting.
• Participate in budgeting up to $8MM and support stores up to $200MM in revenue; contribute to M&A activities.
