Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a Consultant to lead end-to-end project workstreams in our Commercial Practice, transforming how customers work with Technology, Data, and AI to deliver value for Life Sciences. You will shape operating models, drive organizational change, and measure tangible outcomes.

You will mentor Associate Consultants, contribute to business development, and help grow our IP across data-driven, SaaS-enabled engagements in a fast-growing, global team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Life Sciences Consulting
• Expertise in customer engagement strategy, sales and commercial operations, omnichannel
• Analytical rigor for quantitative and qualitative reasoning
• Ability to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Master Class pathway for 3–5 years life sciences experience or military background

The Role

As a Consultant in our Commercial Practice, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with Technology, Data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.

Some of our key areas of focus include:

1. Vault CRM migrations & implementations
2. Activating Veeva’s standards agents in Vault CRM
3. Identifying future customer engagement capabilities needed and the path to transformation
4. Transforming and modernizing the way HCP engagement is planned and executed
5. Optimizing field force direction, productivity, and effectiveness
6. Defining the strategy and execution to realize account-based engagement
7. Accelerating launch through a data-driven approach

What You’ll Do

• Lead project workstreams from end-to-end, ensuring the high-quality design and delivery of customer solutions
• Solve complex problems for Life Sciences leaders, leveraging Veeva’s unique data and software insights
• Mentor and manage Associate Consultants, overseeing their work and professional development within your workstream
• Drive practice growth by contributing to business development and internal IP creation

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in Life Sciences Consulting (Business or Management Consulting preferred)
• Domain Knowledge: Proven expertise in customer engagement strategy, sales and commercial operations, omnichannel, marketing excellence, key account management, and/or medical affairs are preferred
• Analytical Rigor: A strong mindset for both quantitative and qualitative reasoning
• Communication: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Compensation

• Base pay: $70,000 - $140,000
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
