Job description

Business Consultant

Network Runners, Inc. is seeking a Business Consultant to create and update the Coast Guard business process maps used by Coast Guard support services personnel at all levels, on a daily basis. These maps define roles, responsibilities, and the flow of business processes within the Coast Guard.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and direction for executive-level projects implementing change management principles, business process development, re-engineering, and performance measurement.
• Manage complex projects and ensure their completion within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.
• Coordinate all parties involved in tasks and review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
• Read and interpret Government policy, regulations, and directives, applying these interpretations when directed by the Project Manager or designee to all PWS activities.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with executive-level personnel.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
• Research, analysis, and business process modeling skills.
• Ability to maintain results of business process models in DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
