Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC seeks a Business Central Technical Architect to design, develop, and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, including Finance and Supply Chain. You will ensure alignment with development standards and bridge gaps between functional and technical teams.

The role emphasizes delivering technically sound architectures, mentoring junior engineers via code reviews, and providing accurate estimates for complex deliveries in a dynamic client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing Business Central including Finance and Supply Chain.
• 7+ years of Dynamics 365 Development.
• NAV Architect experience is a good fit.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies (Azure DevOps, Power Platform).

Responsibilities

• Stay current on Dynamics 365 platforms and supporting technologies such as the Power Platform.
• Design, develop, manage, and implement Business Central solutions.
• Provide high level estimates to assist with new sales and close technically complex deals.
• Provide technical oversight across multiple Dynamics 365 components.

Business Central Technical Architect

What You'll Do

• Stay current on Dynamics 365 platforms, development standards and supporting technologies such as the Power Platform
• Design, develop, manage, and implement Business Central solutions
• Identify needed training for the development team members to ensure the teams delivery is aligned with the most current trends
• Document Standards and Processes for development team members to adhere to
• Assist with closing technically complex deals
• Provide high level estimates as needed to assist with the closing of new sales
• Provide overall technical oversight to technically complex Dynamics 365
• Ability to break technically complex deliverables into manageable chunks to facilitate development team members delivery
• Ensure the overall vision laid out by the functional team is adhered to across all development components
• Leads/coordinates development efforts that cross multiple Dynamics 365
• Where necessary bridge the gap between the functional team and development team members
• Provide indirect mentoring to development team members via code reviews and identifying process deviations
