Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Central Consultant to lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for clients across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for a consultative ERP professional who can combine strong functional expertise with business process knowledge to help organizations optimize operations, improve efficiency, and maximize the value of their Business Central investment. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, finance teams, operations leaders, and technical resources to deliver end-to-end ERP projects, from solution design and implementation through to user adoption and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Business Central discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis activities to understand client requirements and design scalable ERP solutions.
• Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across Finance, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Projects, and Service Management.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending best practices and process improvements to maximize Business Central capabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver integrations, customizations, extensions, and data migration activities.
• Produce functional specifications, process documentation, solution designs, and user training materials.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training delivery, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide post-implementation support, optimization, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of delivery standards and implementation methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV consulting experience.
• Strong functional expertise across Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Project Accounting.
• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle Business Central implementations, upgrades, and ERP transformation projects.
• Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into practical ERP solutions.
• Strong understanding of Business Central configuration, workflows, approval processes, dimensions, posting groups, security roles, and reporting.
• Experience working with Business Central integrations, APIs, Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies, data mapping, cleansing, validation, and legacy ERP conversions.
• Familiarity with AL extensions, customizations, and collaborating with development teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (MB-800) highly desirable.
• Previous consulting or Microsoft Partner experience preferred.
