Job summary

Empiric is seeking an experienced Contract Business Central Project Manager to lead a Dynamics 365 BC implementation. You will coordinate with the client, internal IT, and the partner to keep the plan, budget, and go-live on track. Preference for Delmarva-based on-site availability, with remote options for the right candidate.

You will run workshops, manage RAID/logs, and oversee data migration, testing, and user adoption post go-live. This role is a fixed-term contract in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering BC/Dynamics NAV end-to-end implementations.
• Strong understanding of BC finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and warehousing.
• Experience working with a Microsoft partner from the client side.
• Excellent organization and stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to be on site in the Delmarva area when required.

Contract Business Central Project Manager

Location: Delmarva area preferred (Delaware, Eastern Shore of Maryland or Virginia), remote considered for the right person

Type: Contract, fixed term

The role

Our client is looking for an experienced project manager to coordinate their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation. You will be the day-to-day link between the business, the implementation partner and internal IT, keeping the project on plan, on budget and focused on a clean go-live.

Key responsibilities

• Own the project plan, timeline, RAID log and status reporting through to go-live and hypercare
• Coordinate the implementation partner, internal stakeholders and any third-party vendors
• Run workshops, steering meetings and weekly status calls, and keep decisions documented
• Track scope and manage change requests, escalating risks early
• Coordinate data migration, testing cycles (including UAT) and cutover planning
• Make sure end users are trained and ready, and support adoption after go-live

What we are looking for

• Proven experience managing or coordinating Business Central or Dynamics NAV implementations end to end
• Good functional understanding of core BC areas such as finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and warehousing
• Experience working alongside a Microsoft partner from the client side
• Strong organization and communication skills, comfortable with both executives and end users
• Able to be on site in the Delmarva area when needed (preferred)

• Experience moving businesses from NAV, GP or legacy ERP systems to Business Central
