Senior Universal Banker

Join Our Team as a Senior Universal Banker!

We are looking for a Senior Universal Banker who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, driving business growth, and excelling in branch operations. This role is perfect for a motivated, customer-focused professional with expertise in banking operations, financial products, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage with customers to identify financial needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.
2. Build long-term client relationships, ensuring a seamless and personalized banking experience.
3. Proactively cross-sell financial products, including checking/savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate accounts.
4. Support business clients with Treasury Services, such as RDC (Remote Deposit Capture), armored, and courier services.
5. Operations & Compliance
6. Open and maintain consumer and business accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations.
7. Process teller transactions while maintaining an exceptional balancing record.
8. Review branch documentation, reports, and account openings for adherence to compliance standards.
9. Ensure adherence to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and regulatory guidelines.
10. Leadership & Team Development
11. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to enhance operational efficiency and customer service skills.
12. Support the Branch Manager in setting team goals and executing promotional activities.
13. Provide guidance on complex transactions, ensuring staff and customer concerns are effectively resolved.

Qualifications & Experience

1. 3+ years of experience in retail banking, including new accounts and teller services.
2. Advanced expertise in opening consumer and business accounts.
3. Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to recommend financial products.
4. Working knowledge of banking regulations (BSA, AML, and Information Security).
5. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software.
6. Notary Public certification preferred.
