Business Banking Relationship Manager - Lincoln Park (Administrative)

The Relationship Manager is responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing loans, deposit, and treasury relationships within small business and business banking sectors. This role will cover the Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville and Roscoe Village neighborhoods.

What You'll Do

  1. Responsible for annual goals tied to loan and deposit volume, cross-sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation.
  2. Manage and grow existing customer relationships with businesses that generally have <$5M in revenue.
  3. Take ownership of credit sheet content and quality by working closely with credit analysts on their successful and timely completion.
  4. Execute exemplary portfolio management.
  5. Work closely with internal partners to generate internal referrals as wells as developing an external network of centers of influence.
  6. Take part in bank events during and after hours.
  7. Responsible for understanding the impact of lending on the bank's CRA goals.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or accounting or related field.
  2. Completion of formal Bank Credit Training program, preferred but not required.
  3. Minimum 5 years of credit and lending experience combined.
  4. Prior B2B, small business banking, or consultative outside sales experience in financial services.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000-$92,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
