BMO Financial Group is seeking a results-driven Relationship Manager for a portfolio of small business clients in Illinois. You will cultivate and expand relationships, attract new business, and coordinate with colleagues to deliver financial solutions and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include developing a business plan, leveraging networks for growth, and cross-selling products while maintaining risk controls and customer retention.

Qualifications

• Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills with ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, lending processes and loan documentation.
• Strong experience with customer sales and service.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
• Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
• Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates, builds, and manages relationships with a portfolio of small business clients.
• Develops sales strategies to attract new business and expand existing relationships.
• Develops networks and referrals to grow BMO's business.
• Identifies opportunities and cross-sells products to meet client needs.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and provides financial solutions.
• Understands local market and develops relationships with centers of influence.
• Monitors performance, data, and risk within the portfolio.
