Job summary

You will work with credit partners to ensure efficient loan approvals and provide financial guidance. This position may be filled at Banker II or III level based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 8 years in commercial/business lending, credit or business development.
• Experience in selling business loans, deposits and fees, with ability to forecast sales and plan territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow bank relationships by acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships.
• Lead with local business owners to develop lending opportunities and cross-sell deposits and cash management.
• Represent the bank at civic and networking events to expand client base.
• Coordinate with credit partners to streamline loan approvals and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with bank partners to deepen client relationships across products.

As a Business Banker at First Citizens Bank you will carry on our tradition of developing and expanding relationships with business owners in your community to help them meet their financial goals.

Business Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships, and the primary contact for borrowing needs up to $5MM. This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

This position may be filled as a Business Banker II or III based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Qualifications: Business Banker II qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Commercial or business lending, credit or business development

Business Banker III qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in Commercial or business lending, credit or business development
