Active Consulting Services LLC seeks a SMALL BUSINESS ATTORNEY for Transactions & Litigation to represent small businesses in formation, contracts, disputes, and commercial litigation. You’ll function as outside general counsel, coordinating with clients across matters from LLC docs to court appearances.

The role emphasizes strong legal writing, business acumen, and the ability to manage disputes, negotiations, and litigations.

SMALL BUSINESS ATTORNEY – TRANSACTIONS & LITIGATION

THE ROLE

Represent small businesses in three core areas: entity formation & contracts, dispute resolution, and commercial litigation. Handle everything from LLC docs to courtroom appearances. Partner with clients as their outside general counsel over time.

MUST HAVE

• 3-5 years business law experience
• Background in transactions, contracts, or commercial disputes
• Strong legal writing and communication skills

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle business disputes, demand letters, collections
• Take cases through litigation (petition to closure)
• Build client relationships and answer prospective client calls
• Manage billable hours & deliver quality work consistently

COMPENSATION

• Base: $110K - $150K/year
• New client commissions (% of retainers)
• Client retention bonuses
• Hours productivity: $150/hour for 6+ billable hours/day
• Annual bonus: 2.5% salary for 1,380 hours
