We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and patient-focused Dental Insurance & Treatment Coordinator to join our dental team in Chattanooga, TN.
This position is ideal for someone who understands dental insurance, enjoys helping patients navigate their treatment and financial options, and thrives in a goal-driven, team environment.
Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
Provide patients with accurate estimates of insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs
Review treatment plans, fees, and financial options with patients
Help patients understand recommended treatment and feel confident moving forward with care
Submit and follow up on insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and outstanding insurance items
Schedule treatment and follow up with patients on unscheduled treatment
Collect patient payments and maintain accurate account information
Support case acceptance, collections, and practice production goals
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim or coverage issues
Partner with doctors and the clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience
Previous dental insurance and/or treatment coordination experience preferred
Strong understanding of dental insurance terminology, benefits, claims, and patient responsibility
Comfortable presenting treatment costs and discussing financial options
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Goal-driven with a strong follow-up mentality
Positive, team-oriented attitude and desire to grow professionally
