Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a developer to build robust associate-facing applications that enable business analytics and streamline internal processes. You will collaborate with partners across IT, DevOps, and security to translate requirements into solid technical designs and code, test, and document solutions.

The role requires 1+ years in SQL, R, Python, or Power BI and a US work history, with a hybrid schedule across Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; or Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of SQL, R, Python, or Power BI programming experience.
• 1+ year of full-time relevant work experience in the US.
• BA/BS in a STEM related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Able to work a hybrid schedule based out of Bethesda, MD, Chicago, IL, or Cleveland, OH.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
• Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information and follow processes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools and management techniques.
• Ability to follow published standards and processes.
• Ability to provide system training to team members.
• Clear, concise, professional oral and written communication.
• Ability to perform under pressure and stressful situations.
• Capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization
