Upstate Caring Partners is seeking a Business Applications Analyst in Utica, NY to plan, develop, and launch efficient business systems. You will gather data, analyze needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements while applying strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The role offers opportunities to work with tools like Access, Excel, Cognos, SQL, and Office 365 to improve agency processes and data integrity. Travel and NY driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in MIS, business administration, or related field, or 3+ years’ experience.
• Experience designing, developing and implementing software/hardware solutions.
• Ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical users in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements with decision makers and end users to optimize processes.
• Evaluate existing systems and develop strategies to improve efficiency and data usage.
• Assist stakeholders in planning, design, and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
• Create end-user solutions using standard tools like Access, Excel, Cognos, SQL.
• Coordinate and train staff on Office 365 applications and forms.
