Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Business Analyst II to advance operational excellence, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities within Insurance New Business and Underwriting. You will partner across business, technology, data, risk, and leadership teams to transform priorities into insights and scalable solutions that drive measurable results.

You will gain broad exposure to enterprise stakeholders while building expertise in analytics, process transformation, and emerging

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, reporting, process improvement, or a related business transformation role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, MIS, mathematics, economics, data science, computer science, or a related field.
Experience with BI tools, data visualization and SQL; familiarity with Python, Snowflake and cloud platforms is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform and, where appropriate, lead business analysis activities across initiatives.
Structure ambiguous problems, assess solutions, and prioritize work based on value, feasibility, risk, and capacity.
Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support decision-making.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, reporting solutions, and executive materials.
Collaborate with underwriting, operations, technology, data, risk, compliance, and product teams to drive delivery.
