Job summary

A financial technology company is seeking Senior Business Analysts with hands-on payments domain expertise. The role requires a deep understanding of payment processing workflows, particularly H2H and SWIFT, and experience with legacy formats such as IDOC and EDIFACT. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to stakeholders. This engagement is anticipated to last approximately one year, making it crucial to have credible profiles ready for complex payments work.

Qualifications

Overview

Looking for senior Business Analysts with hands-on payments domain expertise, specifically:

• End-to-end payment processing workflows
• Host-to-Host (H2H) and SWIFT channels
• Deep experience with legacy formats such as IDOC and EDIFACT
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 20022 and GFF, including mapping and migration work

This engagement is expected to run for ~ one year, with an initial need for ~ 3 Bas with deep IDOC expertise, ~2 with EDIFACT, and a small number of additional Bas for other related work. Given the timeline and criticality, I’m only interested in credible profiles that you would confidently put forward for complex payments work.

   • Resourcefulness in working with obsolete or poorly documented formats.
   • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mapping or data translation issues.
5. Documentation and Communication
   • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder updates.
   • Experience preparing business and technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
