Job summary

TMV Global Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to map process-to-IT for insurance applications in Minneapolis. You will document process flows, identify gaps, and collaborate with SMEs to extract undocumented functionality from legacy BPM/VB6/Java/.NET systems.

The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, requirements elicitation, and producing BRDs for documentation-heavy deliverables. Prior experience with UI prototyping tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance.
• Experience with underwriting, new business, claims, producer/distribution, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute L2/L3 process-to-IT mapping for assigned applications under direction of Lead BA.
• Identify and document process gaps and automation opportunities; perform reverse engineering of legacy apps to produce BRDs.
• Document process flows/user journeys and integration touchpoints.
• Support consolidation analysis and, where assigned, assist in building clickable prototypes for rewrite initiatives.
• Escalate risks and ambiguities to Lead BA promptly.

• Execute L2/L3 process-to-IT mapping for assigned applications within the wave, under direction of the Lead BA.
• Identify and document process gaps and automation/integration opportunities for assigned applications. Perform tool-based reverse engineering of assigned legacy applications to produce BRDs, validating findings with SMEs.
• Document process flows/user journeys and integration touchpoints for assigned applications.
• Support functional consolidation analysis by compiling and cross-referencing validated documentation. Where assigned, support the building of clickable prototypes for applications identified as "rewrite."
• Escalate risks, gaps, and ambiguities to the Lead BA in a timely manner.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–6 years as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance, with exposure to at least one of underwriting, new business, claims, producer/distribution, compliance.
• Solid process-mapping and requirements-elicitation skills, including BRD documentation.
• Ability to work directly with SMEs and legacy systems (BPM, VB6, older Java/.NET) to extract undocumented functionality.
• Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail for documentation-heavy deliverables.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with tool-based reverse engineering/documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with UX/clickable prototyping tools.
• IIBA/CBAP (or working toward) or other relevant BA certification.
• Exposure to IBM BPM, Salesforce, SharePoint, or PowerApps.
