Job summary

ettain group in Irving, Texas is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams. You will be expected to gather business requirements, document processes, and support project execution.

The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in business analysis, particularly with COTS solutions, and knowledge of Oracle CX systems. This is a 7-9 month contract position.

Job Description

• Acts as the liaison between business users and the technical resources on the project team many of which will be from a Professional Services partner
• Work with key business users to gather, define, and formally document business requirements
• Interprets and documents business processes and business rules
• Provides input to the configuration of products by analyzing requirements and studying system capabilities
• Provides input to how the business processes may need to change to accommodate the product functionality
• Provides support to help desk and QA to ensure alignment with requirements
• Assists in preparing and reviewing announcements and publications related to new systems and features
• Assists in preparing or reviewing training documentation
• Guides interpretation of business problems and requirements
• Reviews project solution to ensure it addresses defined requirements
• Performs the responsibilities of a project team member
• Must have strong communication skills and presentation skills
• Facilitate work sessions

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a BA
• COTS experience
• Experience working with Professional Services partners
• Ability to work well under deadline pressures
• Ability to take complete ownership of their project and drive issues to resolution
• Flexible
• Experience with Oracle CX solutions and rollout, preferably with the CRM, Ticket System, and Knowledge Management System modules
• If no direct experience with the Oracle CX CRM and/or Knowledge Management System modules, then experience needed with other vendor CRM, Ticket, and Knowledge Management
