Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Loan IQ Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams on syndicated and commercial lending projects, including implementation, migration, and upgrades of Loan IQ.

You will map end-to-end loan lifecycle, develop FRDs/BRDs, lead requirement workshops, support SIT/UAT, and collaborate across teams to drive process improvements and ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience focusing on Loan IQ projects.
  • Hands-on Loan IQ implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or support engagements.
  • Strong understanding of syndicated and commercial lending operations.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ data model, workflows, and core modules.
  • Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
  • Experience with SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production validation.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Loan IQ and lending operations.
  • Conduct requirement workshops and interviews with business users, operations, product owners, and tech teams.
  • Translate requirements into FRDs, BRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Support Loan IQ implementation, migration, upgrade, integration, and enhancement projects.
  • Document end-to-end loan lifecycle processes (Origination, Setup, Drawdowns, Servicing, Processing, Payments, Reconciliations, Reporting).
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams to ensure accurate design, development, and testing.
  • Create and execute UAT strategies, scenarios, and defect management.
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, data analysis, and process improvements.
  • Support production issue investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders to drive process improvements and best practices.
  • Maintain project documentation, maps, traceability matrices, and change artifacts.
  • Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ Business Analyst with strong expertise in syndicated lending, commercial lending, and Loan IQ platform implementations. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology groups to analyze business requirements, optimize lending processes, and support Loan IQ implementation, enhancement, migration, and upgrade initiatives.

The candidate should possess deep knowledge of the end-to-end loan lifecycle, Loan IQ functional modules, and lending operations, along with excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Loan IQ and lending operations.

  • Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions with business users, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.

  • Support Loan IQ implementation, migration, upgrade, integration, and enhancement projects.

  • Analyze and document end-to-end loan lifecycle processes including:

    • Loan Origination

    • Deal Setup

    • Drawdowns and Funding

    • Loan Servicing

    • Interest and Fee Processing

    • Payments and Settlements

    • Rollovers and Renewals

    • Reconciliations

    • Reporting

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams to ensure requirements are accurately designed, developed, and tested.

  • Create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and defect management processes.

  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Support production issue investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution activities.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to recommend process improvements and best practices.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, process maps, workflow diagrams, traceability matrices, and change management artifacts.

  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with a strong focus on Loan IQ projects.

  • Hands-on experience with Loan IQ implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or support engagements.

  • Strong understanding of syndicated lending and commercial lending operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of Loan IQ data model, workflows, and core functional modules.

  • Expertise in:

    • Loan Origination

    • Loan Servicing

    • Agency Functions

    • Drawdowns and Funding

    • Interest Processing

    • Fee Processing

    • Payments and Settlements

    • Reconciliation and Reporting

  • Experience with requirement elicitation, stakeholder management, business process modeling, and functional analysis.

  • Strong experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.

  • Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production validation activities.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with global banking or financial services organizations.

  • Knowledge of loan accounting, treasury operations, and regulatory reporting.

  • Experience with SQL for data analysis and reconciliation.

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

  • Exposure to Loan IQ integrations with downstream and upstream banking applications.

  • Experience in data migration, conversion, and system modernization initiatives.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum certifications are preferred.
