Job summary

Astek Group is seeking a Business Analyst (M/F) for a client's lottery industry project. You will run workshops, capture requirements and translate them into clear, testable specs. The role requires extensive experience on complex enterprise platforms and strong API and integration know-how.

You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance and Finance teams while managing dependencies and risks. This is a long-term, remote engagement with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst on complex platforms.

Responsibilities

• Backlog management in Jira: epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze integrations between RGS, PAM/Wallet, ODE, Game Studio, reporting and external systems.
• Support delivery from discovery to go-live.
• Work with Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Implementation and Finance teams.
• Manage dependencies, risks, scope changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist end-to-end testing and readiness for deployment.

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Business Analyst (M/F) for our client in the lottery industry.

Задачи

• Conducting workshops, discovery sessions and discussions with stakeholders to gather, clarify and analyse requirements;
• Translating business, technical and regulatory needs into specific, consistent and testable project requirements;
• Creating and maintaining project documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, integration requirements, business rules, process maps and traceability documentation;
• Creating and organising the backlog in Jira, including epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Analysing and documenting integrations between RGS, PAM/Wallet, ODE, Game Studio, reporting and external systems;
• Supporting project delivery at every stage: from discovery, through development and testing, to UAT/CAT, release preparation and go‑live;
• Working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, Implementation and Finance teams, as well as the client;
• Managing dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions and scope changes throughout the project lifecycle;
• Supporting end‑to‑end testing, problem analysis and activities related to solution readiness for deployment and launch.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on complex enterprise platforms or integration projects;
• Very good knowledge of gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements;
• Experience working in Agile and with an iterative solution delivery model;
• Advanced knowledge of Jira, including working with epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Ability to map business processes, transaction flows, interactions between systems and integration dependencies;
• Experience working with APIs, JSON payloads, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and system integrations;
• Very good communication, analytical and organisational skills;
• Experience working with different stakeholder groups and facilitating workshops and analytical sessions;
• Experience in a regulated, compliance-driven or audit environment;
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation at a functional level, including API documentation, sequence diagrams and request/response examples;
• Good knowledge of end‑to‑end flows, system boundaries, integration dependencies and data flows between platforms;
• Practical understanding of topics such as authentication, tokens, endpoints, credentials, environment configuration and release environments;
• Ability to translate technical constraints into business impact, requirements, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.

Будет плюсом: Experience in the iLottery, Lottery, iGaming, Sports Betting, Payments, FinTech or another highly regulated industry; Knowledge of RGS platforms, PAM/Wallet integrations, ODE, jackpots, promotions, reporting, and settlement and reconciliation processes; Experience with implementations carried out across multiple markets or jurisdictions; Knowledge of SQL; SAFe or IREB/CPRE certification, or experience on projects delivered in cooperation with regulators
