Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a data analytics professional to serve as a liaison between clinical and operational service lines, supporting quality and performance measurement initiatives. The role tracks clinical quality outcomes, monitors patient safety, and benchmarks performance with internal and external peers.

You will develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI definitions, analyze multi-source data, and present insights to leadership to drive system-wide improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred for advanced analytics roles.
  • Experience with healthcare data is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains performance measurement processes, including dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Interacts with leadership to discuss data products and analytics needs.
  • Analyzes data to identify improvements and provides data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Designs data reports, scorecards, and dashboards for organizational insight.
  • Performs data extraction and cleaning from multiple sources for reporting.
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives across departments.

Job Description

Responsible for serving as a liaison between clinical and operational service lines to support quality and performance measurement initiatives. Tasks include tracking clinical quality outcomes, monitoring patient safety efforts, and benchmarking internal performance against external peers. This role analyzes qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources and synthesizes results into meaningful reports and presentations.

  • Develops and maintains performance measurement processes, including database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment.
  • Interacts frequently with leadership and quality personnel to facilitate discussions of existing data products and assess unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data‑driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develops key performance indicators through gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing goals or benchmarks.
  • Manages complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources in preparation for reporting use.
  • Uses analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight to the organization.
  • Conducts financial and operational analyses and interprets results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions.
  • Supports system‑wide quality improvement efforts through collaboration with multi‑disciplinary audiences, from executives to front line staff.
  • Develops subject‑matter expertise around business and clinical operations and their relation to performance measurements.
  • Conducts regular data mining and extraction from databases and tables, prepares effective presentations, and articulates findings and results to stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) – Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization – Required
  • Ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results – Required
  • Initiative to work independently and ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams – Required
  • Attention to detail that ensures follow‑through on all assigned projects – Required
  • Experience with data mining/extraction tools – Required
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re‑establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time‑sensitive issues and meet deadlines – Required
  • Familiar with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS) – Required
  • Familiar with data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL) – Required
  • Knowledge of data extraction and analysis of current electronic medical records – Required
  • Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance – Preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's – Required
  • Master's – Preferred
Field of Study
  • Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics discipline
Work Experience
  • 1+ year in a healthcare organization – Preferred
  • 2+ years in a related analytic position – Preferred

Pay Range

$60,151.66 – $111,886.39

Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
