Iron Oak Energy is seeking an experienced IFS Business Analyst to serve as the primary functional support for the IFS Cloud ERP platform and related business applications. The Opportunity

The IFS Business Analyst serves as the primary functional support resource for the IFS Cloud ERP platform and all related business applications. This role is responsible for troubleshooting system issues, supporting and optimizing business processes, and assisting with ERP implementations and migrations. This could also include managing user access requests, coordinate system enhancements, and ensuring business users can effectively utilize IFS Cloud and integrated applications to support daily operations.

The IFS Business Analyst works closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Maintenance, Operations, and IT teams to maintain system stability, resolve incidents, improve business processes, and support continuous improvement across the organization. Serving as the frontline support resource for our user base, this role responds to inquiries, investigates application and interface issues, coordinates resolutions with technical teams and vendors, develops user documentation and training materials, and promotes the effective and efficient use of business systems.

What You’ll Do

ERP Functional Support

• Provide day to day support for IFS Cloud users through Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP system issues and user reported incidents.
• Analyze system errors and coordinate with business users, technical teams, administrators, and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Monitor support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Support testing and validation of system fixes, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Serve as the primary go to for all IFS Support.
• Provide after-hours support for critical ERP issues as required.

Business Process Support

• Support and document business processes within IFS Cloud.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
• Analyze workflow issues and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with requirement gathering for new functionality and process enhancements.

Integration and Technical Coordination

• Support interfaces and integrations between IFS Cloud and third-party applications. Such as Bourque Logistics, ITS (loadout system), BancPay OCR, Vertex, BNA Fixed Assets, Lease Controller, etc.
• Coordinate troubleshooting of integration failures, data issues, file transfers, and automated processes.
• Work with technical teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in validating interface functionality during upgrades and implementations.

ERP Implementations and Migrations

• Support ERP implementations and migration projects.
• Participate in data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), migration, and go-live readiness activities.
• Assist business users during cutover, Hypercare, and post-go-live support periods.
• Coordinate activities between business teams, consultants, vendors, and IT resources.

Documentation

• Assist users with the creation of work instructions, knowledge articles, and process documentation.
• Support organizational training initiatives and knowledge transfer activities.
• Update, maintain and create Functional Specifications and document user requirements for technical review and approval.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

• Assist users with reporting requirements, ad hoc queries, and data analysis.
• Support report development, validation, and enhancement efforts.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.

User Access and Security Administration

• Coordinate user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning activities.
• Manage role assignments, company access, site access, and user permissions.
• Coordinate with the Finance Business Analyst on Financial access provisioning.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Business Analyst on Purchasing access provisioning.
• Ensure access requests comply with segregation of duties (SoD) requirements and internal control standards.
• Assist with user access reviews, audit requests, and user access certifications.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, enterprise applications, or business systems.
• 3+ years of experience supporting IFS Applications, including IFS Cloud preferred.
• Experience supporting Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Operations business processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IFS Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Experience supporting integrations between ERP systems and third-party applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, reporting tools, data analysis, and interface troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) processes and support ticketing systems.
• IFS certifications or other ERP certifications preferred.
