Job summary

Horizon BCBSNJ is seeking an entry-level professional to support data analysis and process improvements in New Jersey. Under supervision, you will review data reports, help forecast tools, and participate in project workgroups to improve operational efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in an operational setting, with strong MS Office skills and healthcare knowledge. Some travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

About the Role

Under direct supervision performs research and root cause analysis for customers. Assists with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions. This is an entry level position performing routine assignments.

What You'll Do

• Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs as necessary.


• Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.).


• May participate in various internal and external project workgroups.


• May recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency.


• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements, etc.


• May prepare materials for internal and external audit activities.


• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

What You Bring

Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED required. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in operational role.

Knowledge: Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.

Strong Computer Skills, Microsoft Office products to include (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.). Team Player, Strong Analytical and Interpersonal Skills.

Travel

Some travel may be required.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $56,200 - $75,285 This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
