Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Business Analyst I to support data reporting, forecasting, and project-workgroups from a remote location. The role is entry-level and supervised, focusing on analyzing data to improve processes and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years in an operational role, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Team Player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs.
• Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.).
• May participate in internal and external project workgroups.
• May recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency.
• Support UAT for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements.
• May prepare materials for internal and external audit activities.

Assists with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions.
