Job summary

CEI is seeking a Back Business Analyst I in Philadelphia, PA for a long-term contract with hybrid onsite work. The role supports a Syndication organization, coordinating trials and engineering processes.

Expected to manage tickets, update stakeholders, and contribute to planning and documentation. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and documentation of processes, tickets, and project plans to enable smooth operations.

Managed Services and Support Philadelphia , PA Contract Hybrid Sep 10, 2026 Job Title: Business Analyst I
JobataGlance:This role supports a Syndication organization that enables major consumer platforms (e.g., video, connected home, broadband) to be delivered to partner cable companies globally. The position sits within Release Operations and Trial Management, primarily on the Trial Management side- coordinating trials when syndication partners pilot new products.
Location: 4x onsite at 1800 Arch Street, Philadelphia PA
Pay Rate: $33/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Duration of Contract: Long term contract with extension/conversion possibility
Responsibilities:

• Intake and manage new tickets through Jira, ensuring proper follow-up and updates throughout the process.
• Sit in on Scribe engineering and office hours calls, actively updating tickets as issues are discussed and resolved.
• Assist in managing the team plan of record within Smartsheets, coordinating progress, and holding weekly standup meetings.
• Support the creation and documentation of processes, tickets, and project plans as needed to facilitate smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience maintaining plans/workstreams in Smartsheet
• PowerPoint skills for clean internal updates and summaries
• Go-getter mentality: strong ownership, follow-through, and comfort pushing items to completion
• Ability to operate in a technical environment (engineering workflows, release/trial coordination, ticketing systems)
• 1-3 years of relevant experience (business analyst support, project coordination, release/ops coordination, or similar)
