MidWestern IT is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst in Florida to analyze requirements, improve processes, and bridge business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience, strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and SQL. This role offers onsite, hybrid, or remote opportunities depending on the position.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
• Experience with requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and SQL.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements; create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Work with development, QA, product, and project management teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Support UAT planning, test-case development, and defect tracking.
